In an interview for Billboard.com Geri Haliwell, also known as Ginger Spice confirmed that the current tour is the last one for the famous girls group, Spice Girls.

“It probably won't happen ever again," said Geri Halliwell "I'm still absolutely blown away that we did more than one show. So right now I'm thinking this is it. This is the last time you will ever get to see this Girl Power, the five Spices on the stage as one."

The British pop group kicked off their reunion tour on December 2 with a sell-out performance in Vancouver and had appearances in Canada, Germany, Spain and the United States.

But earlier this month, the girls decided to pull the plug and they scrapped all dates in several countries, including China, Australia, South Africa and Argentina citing "family and personal commitments."

Their final concert will take place Toronto, Canada on 26 February, the same city where the tour has started.

However, Geri Haliwell, who as a successful solo career, denied the rumors saying that the tour was canceled due to internal fights between the five girls. She said they were forced to shorten the tour because of their personal commitments.

Four of the five singers, who are by now all in their thirties, have become mothers in the past ten years. Emma, known as Baby Spice, gave birth to a baby boy in August 2007, while Victoria, Posh Spice, is mother to three sons: Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.

Melanie Brown, dubbed Scary Spice by the media, is mother to 8-year-old Phoenix Chi and 6-month-old Angel Iris Murphy Brown, whose father is comedic actor Eddie Murphy.

Geri Halliwell welcomed her first child, daughter Bluebell Madonna, in May 2006. She plans to release a book for children in May this year.
