George Michael apparently hasn’t learned anything from his past run-ins with the law. The two-time Grammy Award winner was arrested in a public bathroom, again.
The British police arrested the singer for possessing class A and class C drugs. The scene happened in London, in an underground public bathroom in the Hampstead Heath area. The police officers who arrested Michael were tipped off by a bathroom attendant.
"A 45-year-old man male was arrested on Sept. 19 in the Hampstead Heath area on suspicion of the possession of drugs," said a Scotland Yard spokesperson.
The 45-year-old singer does no face any charges. Police officers took him to a north London police station where they interviewed him and gave him a caution for drug possession. Police did not reveal what drugs George Michael had on him, but according to some reports, he also had crack cocaine, a Class A drug in the United Kingdom.
Michael lives right in the vicinity of the underground men’s room where he was arrested.
The troubled singer had several run-ins with the law. His most notorious arrest was in 1998 when he solicited sex to an undercover police officer. That scene happened in a public bathroom as well, only this time in Beverly Hills.
In 2006, the singer who sold over 100 million records worldwide, was arrested and cautioned for drug possession after police found he was unfit to drive.
