George Clooney Sympathizes With Britney

Trying to prove his point regarding paparazzi’s "bounty-hunters" tactics, George Clooney couldn’t help but make use of Britney Spears’ recent trouble with the photographers, in a totally supportive way.

Having experienced a motorcycle accident recently, and nearly getting himself into another one on Friday in Hollywood while paparazzi attempted to snap pictures of him, the "Ocean’s Thirteen" has all the reasons in the world to be pissed at them.

In an interview with "Entertainment Tonight," Clooney spoke out against celebrity photographers accusing them of risking the safety of innocent bystanders in their photographic pursuit.

"It's not about shooting pictures, it's about the risks they're taking and driving with reckless abandon," Clooney said. "I live on a street where everyone hikes. There are mothers with strollers and elderly people. What they're doing is illegal, it's high-speed chases and they're competing with each other."

The 46-year-old charmer went on suggesting that paparazzi aren't trying to catch him doing something stupid, but rather trying to "create" him doing something stupid.

"You don't get to break all these laws and then say 'I'm just doing my job.' The guys that commit all these crimes are rewarded for it. It creates bounty hunters in a way. They cry poor ... then look at the cars they're driving ... Mercedes and Land Rovers."

As far as Britney, who accidentally ran over the feet of several photographers over the last weeks, and also passed a red light while being chased by another bunch, is concerned, Clooney defended her mishaps.

"You look at the footage of Britney running the red light ... there's eight guys with cameras at night in the middle of the street. There are no rules now. It sounds like a bunch of well-off people whining about how difficult their life is, but I really don't believe that is the case. It's getting to a point where people that are not involved are getting hurt."

Adding his final line, Clooney advised the paparazzi to keep it bellow 60 mph down a one-way street, and make sure they "don’t cause injury to people who aren’t involved."
