In the interview for the Esquire magazine, George Clooney
had to answer some uncomfortable questions. Well, uncomfortable as many would
see them, but not him. Well known for his wit and self-deprecating humor,
Clooney didn’t waste time trying to clear up the rumors that have lately
appeared about him.
Asked about his opinion on a website that calls him “gay,
gay, gay,” the actor answers “No, I'm gay, gay. The third gay – that was
pushing it.”
Another subject that the interviewer touched was the feud
between Clooney and the model Fabio. The incident happened at a restaurant
where George Clooney and Fabio were having dinner. Apparently, someone at
Fabio’s table started taking pictures (the dinner was with some fans for charity)
and Clooney thought they were photographing him and his girlfriend, Sarah
Larson. Clooney was annoyed and took the camera from Fabio’s guest, which
caused Fabio to have some words with him, and also threaten to beat him.
“The women and I were taking pictures of us together only.
The women were not taking pictures of George. Out of courtesy, I even went over
to George’s table to explain that to him. I just feel badly that it ruined the
night of these women who paid to support charity. I am thinking of something to
make it up to them,” Fabio told Access Hollywood.
Clooney
admitted that fighting with Fabio might not be such a good idea.
"Yeah, that's probably true. He's a big guy," the
46-year-old actor said. "There is a moment when you are actually in the
argument and you're thinking, 'If I do get beaten down by Fabio, that will be
far worse than the pain.' I wouldn't shake that."
Another recent somewhat negative comment about Clooney was
made by Donald Trump, who said on the Larry King show that he had met George,
who seemed to him to be a very short guy, even tiny.
To that, George, who is 5- feet 11-inches tall, responded: “I've
met Donald Trump once, and I was sitting at a table. He came over, shook my
hand, and walked away. I guess I looked about three foot five sitting at that
table.”
