Kerstin Fritzl, the 19- year-old girl of the Austrian Josef Fritzl has recovered from her coma and was beginning to get to know her family.

According to CNN, her doctors said Wednesday that the girl was recovering very well, being able to speak and walk with the help of others. Her condition has very much improved since April when she was admitted to a hospital with multiple organ failure.

Kerstin was reunited with her family and doctors said they were expecting “a full recovery” form her, reported Reuters.

Fritzl’s daughter Elisabeth and her six children have been moved into a different house, still on hospital premises, in order to have a normal family environment. Albert Reiter was the one who escorted Kerstin into her new home. He was very glad that the girl could finally begin a new and normal life.

Christoph Herbst, the family lawyer, said that they were all “very happy” that they had been brought together “for the first time,” reported Reuters.

Fritzl brought Kerstin to a hospital in April and doctors discovered that she was suffering from kidney, lung, and liver failure. Doctors kept her into a coma for weeks. They reduced her medication on May 12 and she slowly came out of the coma.

Her mother, Elizabeth came to see her very often.

According to BBC, Kerstin said that she wanted to see the ocean and go to a Robbie Williams concert, as she was a fan of his music. She was feeling very good and doctors said that her immune system had become stronger.

While still in physiotherapy, Kerstin is beginning to get to know her family. They are all getting to know each other: the part of the family who lived in the dungeon and the part that lived with Fritzl and his wife.
