Two young girls from Greenburg got into a lot of trouble for being involved in a case of child pornography trafficking. The situation did not occur as one might expect, as the girls, arounf 14 years old, simply decided to send their nude photos to two boys by using their cell phones.

The pictures were discovered a few months ago in October, after one of the boys was caught messing around with his cell phone during school hours. According to school regulations, the phone had to be confiscated on the spot, and it was then that the photos were somehow found. The teachers immediately called the police as this was considered a very serious matter.

"It was a self portrait taken of a juvenile female taking pictures of her body, nude," explained Greensburg Police Department captain George Seranko, in an interview with WPXI News. "Taking nude pictures of yourself, nothing good can come out of it," he added.

The reason why this is in today’s news is because the Greensburg Police Department just decided to arrest the teenagers. According to an official statement released by the police, the two teenage girls are being charged for manufacturing, disseminating, or possessing child pornography, and also, the two young boys are being charged with possession of child pornography.

"This is going to ruin his life," the boy's mother said, adding that "My son did not know this girl. He had seen her around school, and it was texted to him. He did not take the picture."
