Florida: Baby’s Name In Exchange For $100 Worth of Gas

What would you do for $1 million? What would you do for $100 worth of gasoline? Well, a Florida man thought that, with the price of the oil rising, he’d better save some gas.  So, what did he do? He listened to the radio and changed his unborn baby’s future. We don’t know yet if he changed it for the better or for the worse.

According to FOXNews, an Orlando man gave up his naming rights to his unborn baby for $100 worth of gas. When a local radio station announced that it would give $100 gas card to the one who called the radio and had the most interesting thing to trade, David Partin didn’t think twice and made his call. What did he give up in exchange for $100 gas card? His right to name his unborn son.

Dixon and Willoughby Partin ( “and” is part of the name) will be able to thank his father for his great idea and Central Florida radio hosts Richard Dixon and J. Willoughby for his great name. Or…the boy could change his name. David Partin’s girlfriend Samantha said that her son would have an interesting story about how he ended up being named Dixon and Willoughby, reported FOXNews.

The radio host said they would be at the hospital when the baby would be born and they would give the gas card after they see the birth certificate.
