Mobile phones are not just devices that enable people to talk on the phone, they are becoming more and more gadgets that have as an ultimate goal to do everything, except cooking you breakfast. Mobile phones can connect to the Internet and stream movies, you can listen to music and chat with your friends on messenger.
More and more online services have developed mobile features, by doing so assuring that their users can get the same treatment whether they’re using the computer or their mobile phone. Flick has now joined the list of such sites that have adapted to the mobile phone world, as more and more users were accessing the site from their smartphones.
Flickr has dramatically changed their mobile video-sharing features in an effort to make the popular video and photo sharing site more accessible and more user friendly. In other words, people can now watch videos or pictures on Flickr on their mobile phone, when in town or just for a stroll, just as easily as they would by using a computer.
The mobile features are available to those who are the proud owners of either an iPhone or iPod Touch, with the option being available to any other phone using mobile versions of the Opera of Firefox browsers.
The mobile Flickr features are also being developed for those using Nokia N Series and for the phones running on Google’s Android operating system. The portability a mobile phone has is hard to compare to any other device, and because a mobile phone can do so much it is important for sites to give even more attention to those accessing their sites from their phones.
