Twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon have to be the
richest babies in the world…or at least the youngest philanthropists in the
worlds. Why? Because reports have said that the first pictures of them are
going to be sold for $14 million and all the money will be donated to charity.
According to E! Online, People magazine and Hello!
magazine will pay that enormous sum. People has won the U.S. and Canadian
rights to the twins ‘first photo shoot and Hello! Has the international
exclusive. No one officially confirmed that the photos were worth $14 million
but a person who has taken part to the negotiation said that this was the
amount of money the magazines were willing to pay.
"We're thrilled to be able to feature these pictures
in People," managing editor Larry Hackett said in a statement. "They
will delight our readers who have followed the growth of the Jolie-Pitt
family."
Let’s hope other celebrities won’t get jealous because their twins got less
money. Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s twins Max and Emme got $6 million for
their first photo shoot. Oh, poor babies!
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie said that the entire amount
of money would go to charity.
“The Jolie-Pitt family and Getty Images have agreed that
all proceeds will be used for charitable purposes,” the agency said in a
statement.
According to Reuters, Getty Images said on Friday that it
had already done an exclusive photo shoot of the twins with the rest of the
family Jolie, Pitt and the couple's four other children, Maddox, Zahara, Pax
and Shiloh. A preview of People magazine's cover will be posted on People.com
Sunday afternoon.
Twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline were born on July
12 at a hospital in Nice, France, joining their siblings Maddox,6, Pax, 4,
Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2.
Sources said that the couple has opted for fertility
treatments when they decided to have more children. The babies were conceived
through in vitro fertilization as the couple wanted more babies soon.
Jolie said on “The Daily Show” last year that the number
fluctuated “between seven and 13 or 14.”
Well…we wish them good luck. early saidheir first photo shoot. Oh, poor babies! will be
donated to charity.
