First Pictures Of Jolie-Pitt Twins To Be Published Monday

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's newborn twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, are set to make their debut in the upcoming issue of People magazine.

For the second time around, the mag secured the North American rights to the couple's exclusive baby pictures in exchange for a hefty donation to charity, People spokeswoman, Nancy Valentino, said Friday adding that she didn't know how much was paid for the photos, which were expected to fetch a figure that would dwarf previous baby-pic payouts.

The money, which doubles the $6 million People paid to feature Jennifer Lopez and her newborn twins on a March cover, will go to a foundation created by Pitt and Jolie that largely focuses on helping children around the world.

"We're thrilled to be able to feature these pictures in People," managing editor Larry Hackett said in a statement. "They will delight our readers who have followed the growth of the Jolie-Pitt family."

The photos will also appear in British celebrity publication Hello!. People and Hello! are presumed to have split the hefty price tag rumored to range between $10-$16 million.

A preview of People magazine's cover will be posted on People.com Sunday afternoon. Getty Images said on Friday it had already done an exclusive photo shoot of the twins with Jolie, Pitt and the couple's four other children, Maddox, Zahara, Pax and Shiloh -- three of whom are adopted, Reuters reported.

"The Jolie-Pitt family and Getty Images have agreed that all proceeds will be used for charitable purposes," the agency said in a statement.

Barely one month old, the Jolie-Pitt twins became the most talked about twins in celebrity world since the Olsen twins, even before they were born. Angelina Jolie, 33, gave birth via a Cesarian section at the Lenval Hospital on the French Riviera on July 12. Knox weighed 5.03 pounds and Vivienne weighed 5 pounds.

Immediately after the twins were born, the mayor of Nice held a press conference and gushed in his praise for the glamorous couple. He said it was a great honor that such big stars had chosen his city to give birth. He also announced that the children will be honorary citizens of Nice for the rest of their lives and will also have the opportunity to apply for French citizenship when they turn 18.

Meanwhile, Grandpa Jon Voight told "Fox and Friends" he is surprised by his daughter's maternal nature.
"You know, she wasn’t the kind that played with dolls, and then all of the sudden she has all of these children," the actor said Thursday on the Fox News Channel.

"She loves kids though," he added. "She’s very playful. It’s wonderful."

As far as his daughter and grandchildren are concerned, the actor said "They're healthy and they're doing well and I'm so happy. And of course the parents are really happy and over the moon. It's a wonderful time."
