The lawsuit between Sean Connery, 77, and his downstairs neighbor came to an end on Wednesday when a judge fed-up with the complaints of the latter told the both sides to calm down and settle the matter as adults.

Mr. Connery and his neighbor, a Manhattan eye doctor, Dr. Burton Sultan have been fighting for some roof renovations at the Townhouse they share in the Upper East Side, New York Daily News reports.

Mr. Sultan claims that the renovations cause a lot of noise, leaks and rats and called Mr. Connery “a bully who ignores norms of neighborliness and decency.”

On the other hand, former 007 and his wife claim that Mr. Sultan’s complaints delayed repairs thus putting the couple in danger and raised renovations costs.

Yesterday Supreme Court Justice Marcy Friedman scolded both sides due to the fact that they didn’t reach a truce. Friedman called the attacks of the two sides “blunderbuss” and rejected almost all the claims of Mr. Sultan. She also barred the two from filing lawsuits against one another without her permission, TMZ said.

Still, she didn’t reject all Mr. Sultans’ complaints.

She wrote: "Regrettably, both parties to this dispute have engaged in a 'slash and burn' litigation strategy that has at times been duplicative and exceedingly burdensome to their adversaries and the courts."

In one lawsuit in 2005, among the many Mr. Sultan has filled against the first James Bond, he called Mr. Connery "foulmouthed, fat old man" and an "ogre" who blasted music at "all hours."

The angry neighbor filled three lawsuits against Mr. Connery and other neighbors involved in the roof repairs of the townhouse saying that the repairs led to rat infestation that made him and his wife to leave the bottom three floors of the building.

Sean Connery also filed for lawsuit against Mr. Sultan in Manhattan and Nassau County Supreme Court.
