The man who was accused of kidnapping his daughter a week ago was caught Saturday. According to the Baltimore Sun, authorities informed that FBI agents arrested Clark Rockefeller and rescued the girl in Mount Vernon. The 7-year-old girl Reigh Boss was safe and unharmed and she was taken to Boston to her mother.

Clark Rockefeller kidnapped his daughter a week ago and police have been trying to capture him since then. A police source said that they finally managed to catch him thanks to a real estate agent, who leased Clark Rockefeller a carriage house in Baltimore, reported The Sun. Rockefeller, 48, was arrested at 3:25, about 400 miles from where he kidnapped his daughter. At a news conference in Boston, officials informed that the FBI agents have been watching Rockefeller’s Baltimore house for “a couple of days.”

"He was very cooperative," FBI Special Agent Noreen Gleason said at the news conference, reported the Baltimore Sun.

As for Reigh, Rockefeller’s daughter, officials said that she looked good and “her appearance had not been altered.” Sandra Boss, the girl’s mother, was very excited to hear that her daughter was found safe and unharmed. Rockefeller was arrested without incident and he faces charges of felony kidnapping, assault and battery, and battery with a dangerous weapon charge.

Officials said that it appeared that Rockefeller was dissatisfied with a divorce and custody settlement between him and his wife, leading to the kidnapping of his daughter. Sandra Boss and Clark Rockefeller divorced in December 2007. Authorities don’t know yet why the man fled to Baltimore.

Even though his name is Rockefeller, he is not related in any way to the well-known Rockefeller family. The man and his daughter were last seen on July 27 during a pre-arranged visitation. The social worker who was present  was pushed down by Rockefeller, who ran away with his daughter. Since then, authorities have been trying to find them.
