Former "Prison Break" star, Lane Garrison, pled guilty to manslaughter charges over a car accident last year that resulted in a teenage school student dead, and two others injured. Â
Garrison also pled guilty to driving under the influence and to providing alcohol to a minor at a hearing in Los Angeles on Monday.
If found guilty, the 26-year-old actor, best know for his part in hit TV show "Prison Break," faces up to six years and eight months in jail, the maximum time, for killing 17-year-old Beverly Hills High School student Vahagn Setian and injuring two 15-year-old girls.
Garrison allegedly had a blood-alcohol content of .20, more than twice the legal limit, and was under the influence of cocaine, according to police.
Appearing in front of Beverly Hills Superior Court Judge Elden Fox, Garrison muttered the words "I am guilty, your honor," on each count.
The actor, who suffered minor injuries in the car crash, was driving his Land Rover when he struck a tree on December 2, killing Setian, and injuring the two girls who were in the car at the time of the accident.
Garrison's attorney Harland Braun says, "What's unusual in this society is he is admitting full responsibility -- that's a breath of fresh air."
"Mr. Garrison's attitude is basically, 'Look, I did something wrong, I'm going to face up to my responsibilities, and I'm going to accept my punishment,' " Braun said last month.
Earlier this year, Garrison, a Dallas native, was ordered to hold back from driving, drinking alcohol or having any contact with the victims or witnesses in the case.
