“Everybody's got a better side,” Tina Fey Commented on Her Scar

In an interview with Maureen Dowd in January's Vanity Fair, Tina Fey and her husband finally talk about (among other things) the incident that scarred the comedy girl’s face.

A faint scar runs across Tina Fey's left cheek, the result of a violent cutting attack by a stranger when Fey was five. Her husband says, "It was in, like, the front yard of her house, and somebody who just came up, and she just thought somebody marked her with a pen." You can hardly see the scar in person. Fey herself confessed: "I proceeded unaware of it. I was a very confident little kid. It's really almost like I'm kind of able to forget about it, until I was on-camera," says Fey, whose scenes are often shot from the right side. But, she adds, she's never felt unattractive because of the scar: "It's really almost like I'm kind of able to forget about it, until I was on-camera, and it became a thing of 'Oh, I guess we should use this side' or whatever. "Everybody's got a better side," she added.

Moreover "30 Rock" creator, writer and producer Tina Fey is bringing the funny to Vanity Fair with a stunning patriotic cover. And she looks beautiful, indeed.

Tina reveals she immediately dieted after seeing herself as an extra on "Saturday Night Live." Fey claims she weighed around 150, "...I was like, 'Ooogh.' I was starting to look unhealthy. I looked like a behemoth, a little bit." The future star says she joined Weight Watchers right away. And due to this, she finally knows what her greatest assets are.

With her multiple Emmy wins and successful show, Tina has had an incredible year. Now that Tina's in control of her career more than ever, we can't wait to see what she comes up with next.
