Hollywood actress Eva Longoria is certainly having the last laugh as she dismisses (wishful?) rumors that there is a sex tape of her and husband Tony Parker making the rounds on the Internet.
The starlet’s so-called sex tape surfaced on the Internet Tuesday but it wasn’t what certain hopefuls wished it to be. Eva set the record straight earlier this week, explaining that the material was actually the latest spoof on Will Ferrell’s “Funny or Die” website.
“I'm so amused. It's so funny. Oh, my gosh. I've gotten like 100 calls on it saying it's so hilarious,” Eva told Ryan Seacrest during his KIIS-FM radio show Tuesday.
The “Desperate Housewives” actress went on to say that she made the spoof with comedian Perry Hilton, who imitates socialite Paris Hilton.
The sex tape was supposed to star Eva and hubby Tony Parker but, as the actress put it, she and Tony are “very square” and would not film themselves in the bedroom.
Tony, who is an NBA star, apparently found the skit “freakin’ hilarious,” said Eva. “It's like the non-sex video because we don't have sex. It's so funny. Tony thought it was so freakin' hilarious. But it's a skit.”
Eva, 32, and Tony, 25, married in July in Paris and honeymooned on beautiful Caribbean islands.
The decision to wed came after a rocky period in their relationship, when they even went through a brief separation in late 2006, due to their demanding working schedules. They reconciled, became engaged, then married.
Children are on their way, it would seem, as both Eva and Tony have expressed a wish for parenting.
“That would be even better than my NBA titles, even if I don't compare private life and sports,” Tony said earlier this year. “Eva talks to me about it all the time. I'd like to have girls, because I come from a world of boys.”
Eva rose to fame in 2004, with her role as Gabrielle Solis on the popular ABC show “Desperate Housewives,” where she stars alongside Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross.
She was nominated for a Golden Globe for best performance by an actress in a television series for her interpretation of the manipulative and adulterous, yet adorable, Gabby.
She also played in the 2006 thriller “The Sentinel,” starring Michael Douglas and Kiefer Sutherland.
