Hollywood is getting crazier by the day and we don’t know what to make of it anymore. A simple example: two separate juicy gossips circulate the tabloids, about the same celebrity actress, at the same time, but with completely opposite outcomes.

Gossip No.1 is that Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria Parker is pregnant, as she sports a rather round figure these days, different from the all toned-up physique we were used to. Rumors of a pregnancy for her and her husband, professional basketball player Tony Parker, have been circulating all summer, but were repeatedly denied.

And as fellow Wisteria Lane resident Felicity Huffman tries to make an excuse for Longoria in a funny way, saying “She’s only fat, not pregnant,” all the tabloids put a twist on the statement and turn it into a mean observation. Huffman is actually saying that her colleague just had to put on some extra pounds for her role in “Desperate Wives,“ due to the show’s jump ahead of five years, where Gabrielle Solis has become an overworked housewife. She also talks about the fat suit Eva will have to wear and about how funny the situation really is on set.

On the other hand, Juicy gossip No. 2 already sees the petite actress playing a role in the new “Avengers” movie, due to come out in 2011. She was reportedly seen leaving the Marvel Comics offices this weekend with a pile of “Avengers” issues in hand. The most popular theory making the rounds, in complete contradiction with her round figure, is that Longoria is up for the role of Janet van Dyne, otherwise known as the flying, shrinking and stinging hero called The Wasp, with a really wasp-like waist, needless to say.

So which one is true? The fat gossip or the skinny gossip, or both, or none of the above?
