Thursday, Elisabeth Hasselbeck of “The View” revealed on the ABC daytime chat show that she was pregnant with her third child and she was due to deliver in August.

Hasselbeck and her husband Tim, who played for the Arizona Cardinals, are already the parents of 3-year-old Grace Elisabeth and 15-month-old Taylor Thomas.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck, 31, is an American former reality show contestant of Survivor: The Australian Outback, while she currently co-hosts „The View” talk show.

In 2001, she served as a judge at the Miss Teen USA Pageant, whereas from 2002 to 2003, she hosted the Style Network's The Look for Less, in which she helped find stylish clothes for bargain prices.

During her time as co-host of „The View,” she has been involved in many a controversial and heated debate, including one concerning the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) decision to allow the „morning after pill” to be sold as over-the-counter (OTC) medicine.

On August 2, 2006, she voiced her opinion that life began from the moment of conception, going as far as having stated that the drugs should be banned even for rape or incest victims because, as she put it, life still had value.

Elisabeth Filarski married her college boyfriend Tim Hasselbeck, a former quarterback in the NFL and the brother of Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, on July 6, 2002, while the couple’s first child was born in 2005.

Tim Hasselbeck, now an ESPN analyst, has served as professional football quarterback for the New York Giants, Washington Redskins, Philadelphia Eagles, and Buffalo Bills.
