Barack Obama is spoiled, but in a good way. He has Al Gore’s support, he was adopted into the Crow Nation and now Donatella Versace dedicated her spring men’s collection to him. How lucky can one guy get?
Versace also referred to Obama as “the man of the moment,” saying that he was relaxed and his power had nothing to do with his “muscles,” reported New York Magazine.
Versace dedicated her Spring-Summer 2009 line to the “relaxed man who doesn't need to flex muscles to show he has power,” referring to the Democratic presidential candidate. I bet John McCain is jealous.
He shouldn’t worry too much, because Versace gave some advice to politicians, saying that they should give up their tie and “jazz up the shirt,” reported The Associated Press.
Obama said that he was not much of a spender and he would only buy “five of the same suit” and then he would wear them “repeatedly.” He also said he only had “four pairs of shoes.” I guess this was enough for Versace.
The new collection showed tailored suits with scarves instead of ties. Elegance and style were key words in the new collection. At least in fashion, Obama is on the right track.
