Djokovic And Nadal In Semifinals in Paris

Despite being his best friend, Rafael Nadal didn’t hesitate to crush Carlos Moya in a 6-4, 6-3, 6-0 win. The Spaniard ascended into the semifinal at French Open and he celebrated his 19th victory without defeat at Roland Garros.

"I'm happy for making semi-finals for the third time, I'm very happy about my game," said the Spaniard. "I'm playing so much better, especially after the first three rounds."This is a very good result for me."

Nadal, 21, was never troubled after Moya's strong start in the opening set faded with the pair trading breaks.

"It's true that we both speculated on how the other one would play," said Nadal. "But then I was very happy I could win the first set. After that the match was totally different."

Moya said that during a tough opening set, "I started well but he played better and better.

"It was tough for me. It was a good effort for me to make the quarters. I could have played better today. I couldn't play my game against him, I had no chance."

In the semifinals Rafael Nadal will play against Novak Djokovic which whipped Russian danger-man Igor Andreev 6-3, 6-3, 6-3.

"Considering the fact that I am the sixth player on the world, and recently made the fantastic results, a lot of people expected for me to reach the second week here," said Djokovic.
