Michael C. Hall, the actor better known as Dexter Morgan from “Dexter” TV show, has married his co-star, Jennifer Carpenter, who portrays his sister.
"They were married outdoors in Big Sur, Calif.," Hall's representative, Craig Bankey said for E! News.

The couple has been dating for 18 months and they got married on New Year's Eve. According to Bankey, their first public appearance as newlyweds whill be this Sunday, when Hall and Carpenter plan to attend at the 66th Golden Globe Awards ceremony in Beverly Hills.

In the “Dexter” TV show Michael C. Hall, of “Six Feet Under” fame, stars as a likeable man who sublimates his serial killer drive (or at least tries to) with a job as a blood pattern analyst. The Miami Police Dept. forensics expert only kills criminals who cannot be caught otherwise in the justice system.

He was orphaned at three and was adopted by a Miami police officer, Harry Morgan, who saw that Dexter had sociopathic tendencies but never got him professional help. Instead he taught the boy to use his passion for killing in order to murder people, who “deserve it,” who slipped the justice system.

Jennifer Carpenter plays the role of Debra Morgan, the daughter of Harry, who have followed his daddy’s dream and become a Miami Police detective.
In the show, Dexter taught to fake normality and keep up with the appearance. He is liked by most of his colleagues, his girlfriend, Rita, and her children.
The funny part is that the third season of “Dexter” has ended with the weeding of Dexter and Rita.

Michael C. Hall, who started his career in theater, was nominated in 2002 for an Emmy in the Outstanding Lead Actor, for his portrayal of David Fisher, a gay mortician in the HBO TV show “Six Feet Under”. He was previously married to Amy Spanger.

Jennifer Carpenter is known for her performance in “The Exorcism of Emily Rose”, a role for which she received the 2006 MTV Movie Award for "Best Frightened Performance".
