Capcom announced that it will release a demo of its Devil May Cry 4 game early next year. The demo will give gamers the opportunity of trying out playing as Nero with his 'Devil Bringer' power before buying the game and also before the full game is released.
Although the Devil May Cry 3 has been ported to the PC, there is no word yet about a PC version of the Devil May Cry 4. The demo was only announced for Sony Computer Entertainment's Playstation 3 computer entertainment system and the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.
The Devil May Cry 4 demo delivers its intense action at a constant 60 frames per second at 720P resolution on HD monitors, ensuring seamless and breathtaking gameplay all in stunning high definition, Capcom claims.
As expected, the new incarnation of the game features characters from the successful 'Devil May Cry' series.
The demo will be available for download on the PlayStation Network and the Xbox Live Marketplace early next year. The setting is the coastal city of Fortuna and its surroundings, such as the port and snow-capped mountain ranges. There are two play scenarios from two points in the game.
The Devil May Cry 4 demo ends with a showdown with Berial, one of the boss fights for the game. The full retail version of Devil May Cry 4 will include two playable characters, allowing players to take control of both Nero & Dante at different points in the game.
