Police have found new evidence in the case of Anne Pressly, a popular TV anchor who was beaten to death. The TV anchor was found unconscious and full of blood in her bed in the morning of October 20th. Anne Pressly died after five days without regaining consciousness.
Police have found evidence linking Curtis L. Vance to the incident. It is said that the motive is not yet known but it is very probable that robbery might have been what driven the violent reaction that ultimately lead to the anchor’s death. Curtis L. Vance is also wanted for rape in his hometown, making the man even more suspicious.
DNA samples found in Pressly’s house point directly to Vance, leaving the police without doubt that he was the culprit. The police have arrested the man and he will be judged.
Also, officers on the case have declined to give any information whether the TV anchor was raped, but it is common sense for such information to be held private. A warrant for Mr. Vance’s arrest in the death of Ms. Pressly was obtained by afternoon Wednesday, and within hours he had been taken into custody and charged with capital murder.
It is just a shame that these things happen and innocent people have to suffer. Anne Pressly was a popular TV anchor, being a regular on the “Daybreak” program of KATV. Her death brings sadness to all those who were fond of her and everybody hopes that the culprit will get the sentence he deserves.
