The flow of celebrities busted for driving under the influence has gotten to actress Kirsten Storms, known for playing in "General Hospital" and "Days of Our Lives," who has been arrested for drunk driving in Los Angeles over the past weekend.
According to the police, the 23-year-old starlet, who also voices Bonnie Rockwaller, a high school rival to the main character on Disney’s animated show "Kim Possible," was driving her car on a Los Angeles freeway when she was pulled over for throwing a lit cigarette out the window.
Officers "noticed the odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle," TMZ.com reported. She was submitted to a series of sobriety tests and then arrested for DUI.
She was taken to the Van Nuys jail at 4:26 that morning where she was imprisoned for several hours before being released on a $5,000 bail. According to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, Storms is due in court on October 2.
Storms has made guest appearances on "CSI: Miami," "7th Heaven" and "That's So Raven."
