If he did have any doubts about being the father of Playmate Jillian Grace’s child, he might as well erase them now. It’s official! “The Rules of Engagement” star David Spade is a daddy.

David Spade’s publicist, Meredith O’Sullivan, told People magazine that the baby girl delivered by former Playboy star Jillian Grace is the 45-year-old funnyman’s daughter.

“David and Jillian have been in close contact throughout her pregnancy and he plans to go see the baby during his first break from shooting TV sitcom “Rules of Engagement,” Meredith O’Sullivan informed the magazine.

The baby girl was born on August 26 in Missouri, but no other details regarding the child were disclosed, not even the little girl’s name.

David Spade admitted to having had a brief fling with Miss March 2005, but remained quiet with regard to whether or not he had anything to do with Jillian Grace’s pregnancy, which the Playmate revealed in January.

The actor, who is 21 years older than the model, told E! News he would accept responsibility if it was confirmed that he was the father of the child. “If it is true that I am the father of her child, then I will accept responsibility,” he said.
