Actor David Spade is the father of a new baby daughter born to Playboy Playmate Jillian Grace, his publicist confirmed to People magazine.

Meredith O’Sullivan said that the actor has been in close contact with Grace throughout her pregnancy and “he plans to go see the baby during his first break from shooting Rules of Engagement.”

Grace, 22, announced she was pregnant in January and claimed Spade was the father of her child. The baby, whose name has not yet been revealed, was born August 26 in Missouri and is reportedly Spade’s first child.

The 45-year-old actor, who is 23 years older than the model, admitted that he had a brief relationship with Miss March 2005 and said that if he was proven to be the father of the baby then he would accept responsibility.

The former “Saturday Night Live” player has starred in the TV shows “Rules of Engagement,” “8 Simple Rules” and “Just Shoot Me.” He appeared in the movies “Black Sheep,” “Lost & Found,” “Joe Dirt"” and “Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star.”

The actor has previously been linked to several other beauties, including Heather Locklear, Lara Flynn Boyle, Krista Allen and Julie Bowen. It seems that a good sense of humor actually works on ladies.
