Hollywood actor David Hasselhoff was yesterday given back the permission to visit his two daughters after he was "blocked" from seeing them due to a leaked video tape in which he was shown drunk and trying to eat a burger while his older daughter was begging him to quit drinking.
A court order prohibiting the former "Baywatch" star to visit Taylor-Ann, 17, and Hayley, 14, his two girls, was removed on Monday, Access Hollywood reported adding that Hasselhoff, who admitted he is a recovering alcoholic, had entered into a temporary custody arrangement with his ex-wife, Pamela Bach.
Despite the gag order issued by the judge during the closed court hearing, sources told Access Hollywood that Hasselhoff will have the children on Tuesday and Thursday, while Bach will have the girls on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Hasselhoff, 54, and his former wife, Pamela Bach, 43, both attended the hearing, but neither provided details after it ended.
"It went very well, the truth was told, and I can't say any more," Hasselhoff said outside court.
TMZ.com reported that an important element in the judge’s decision was the fact that he was presented with evidence from the court-appointed expert who performed psychological evaluations on the family. Apparently, Bach was abusive to her kids, and also refused to submit herself to drug testing.
Bach's attorney, Debra Opri, told reporters "we're very happy" but provided no further details claiming she was "gagged." Another hearing was scheduled for June 1.
