Despite last month’s drunken tape incident, a judge recognized his qualities as a father awarding actor David Hasselhoff with full custody of his two daughters.
Putting an end to one the most bitter and public custody battles of all time, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mark Juhas gave the "America's Got Talent" judge sole legal custody and primary physical custody of his two teenage girls, 14-year-old Hayley and 17-year-old Taylor.
"The judge said, 'Enough is enough, these children have been through enough’ " a smiling Hasselhoff told reporters following the hearing.
His former wife, Pamela Bach, and her lawyer, Debra Opri, refused to make any comments but according to TMZ.com, just moment’s after the judge’s decision, Bach was seen crying on the hallway, telling her attorney "What am I gonna say? I jut lost my kids."
The 54-year-old former star of TV’s "Baywatch" and "Knight Rider," and Bach have been sharing the custody until last month when Hasselhoff’s visitation privileges were suspended for two weeks after a tape showing him drunk on the floor of his Las Vegas home, emerged.
Melvin Goldsman, Hasselhoff’s attorney, said Bach will still be able to visit her daughters.
"Pamela is able to visit on alternate weekends and each Wednesday night for dinner," the lawyer tells E! News. "And David made it clear to the court the girls can visit with their mother whenever they want to."
