Steve Wozniak, better known in the tech world as Woz, the man who co-founded Apple together with Steve Jobs, will be one of the contestants of the upcoming ..and now hold you breath…season of “Dancing With the Stars".
Yeas, you read that correct, is not “Dancing with MacIntosh” or “Who Wants to Be a A Computer Geek”, it is the dancing show were the contestants are to be eliminated based on their dancing skills, or better said the lack of them.
The cast of the eight season of “Dancing with the Stars” was revealed during ABC’s Sunday night primetime. The premiere of the new season is set for March 9 and the list of the competitors includes also Denise Richards, the former wife of Charlie Sheen, Lawrence Taylor, the former New York Giant and Hall of Famer, Go-Go's lead singer Belinda Carlisle and TV host Nancy O'Dell of "Access Hollywood."
The presence of Steve Wozniak to such a show is quite a surprise. He left his full-time employment at Apple in 1987, 12 years after he created the company. Woz is especially known for creating Apple I and Apple II.
However, despite quitting Apple, he remained a shareholder and an employee of the company.Earlier this month, Steve Wozniak joined Fusion-io, a data storage and server company, as their chief scientist.
