Tuesday
night, just after the live broadcast of the “Dancing With The Stars” show ended,
Julianne Hough was rushed to the Cedars-Sinai
Medical Center
by ambulance, the contestant having experienced stomach pains throughout the
day.
When these pains increased in the evening, the doctors
reckoned it was best to have them checked at the hospital. Nevertheless, the
rumors of her having collapsed on the set have been denied by
her representative Cindy Guagenti.
During „Dancing With The Stars,” Julianne Hough and partner
on the show „Hannah Montana” actor Cody Linely were selected by the jury to
give an encore performance of their jitterbug dance they had done on Monday.
In
addition, also on Tuesday, she performed her song called “My Hallelujah
Song” during a pre-taped segment scheduled to air later on in this DWTS season,
which needed to be shot twice.
Julianne
Hough, 20, is an American professional ballroom dancer and country music
singer who rose to fame due to her appearances on the ABC version of „Dancing with the Stars,” which
managed to earn her a Creative Arts Primetime Emmy nomination in 2007 for her
choreography.
In May this year, she released her self-titled debut album
after she signed with Mercury Nashville Records in December 2007. The album
debuted at number one on the Top Country Albums chart and also scored the
fourth position on the Billboard 200.
Hough is a
two-time winner of the “Dancing With The Stars” show, for the contest’s fourth
season (alongside speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno) and also for the following one, in which she
partnered with two-time Indianapolis 500 champion Hélio Castroneves.
