Julianne Hough is safe and sound after being hospitalized for severe stomach pain. She was rushed to the hospital after her performance on "Dancing With the Stars" when her colleagues found her curled up on the floor because of the pain.
The female dancer who won the “Dancing With the Stars” two times experienced severe stomach pain while the show was under way. It was so painful that she "curled up in a ball" backstage after the show.
However, the dancer assured her fans that her ambulance trip was more of a precaution measure.
"Everybody, I'm ok. I'm fine," she wrote on her Fancast blog. "In case you didn't hear the news, last night it was my turn to go to the hospital.
She also wrote that she wanted to make sure it wasn’t anything dangerous. Although it turned out to be just bad stomach, it could have been appendicitis.
“As my mom said, better safe than sorry," the 20-year-old professional dancer wrote on her Fancast blog.
Julianne Hough, who is the dance partner of "Hannah Montana" actor Cody Linley, was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Tuesday. The dancer said she has never been in an emergency room and that she was grateful that she wasn’t there for something more serious than a bad stomach ache.
Hough wrote on her Fancast blog that she didn’t feel good all day, but she said nothing and didn’t want to be dramatic about it and quit the show or something like that.
“I'm a trooper [sic]. I didn't tell anyone. I didn't want to be dramatic about things," she wrote.
"I didn't collapse as some reports indicated," she wrote.
