Hollywood actor Eddie Murphy is indeed the father of Mel B’s two-month-old daughter, Angel Iris, a DNA test proved her well spread claims over the last several months.

According to People Magazine, the result of the paternity test which Murphy took on June 11, were received by Brown on Thursday afternoon, her publicist, Liza Anderson said.

"He's the baby's father, it's official," says a source close to Brown. "The baby is undoubtedly, 110 percent his."

"There was no doubt in people's minds anyways, least of all hers. It wasn't a surprise to her. She knew all along," the source added regarding Brown.

The 46-year-old actor-comedian and Brown, formerly known as Scary Spice, dated for seven months last year and broke up while she was still pregnant.

"There was never any doubt in her mind that Eddie was Angel's father. They were in a loving and exclusive relationship. She is really disappointed that he's acted this way, dragging lawyers in and demanding a paternity test - especially as she knew what the result would be," a friend of Mel B said.

Another friend said last night: "Mel is immensely pleased that the whole saga is over and she is looking forward to moving on with her life with her new baby.

"There is absolutely no communication between Mel and Eddie, so no one is sure how he is going to react to this news."
