DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) and drummer Travis Barker will reunite and share the stage again after being involved in a deadly plane crash in September. The two musicians, who went through very painful recovery during the past couple of moths, will perform on the New Year's Nation's Los Angeles New Year's Eve Party, hosted by West Hollywood’s The Lot.
It would be the first time the two musicians share the stage again since the crahs. The last time this happened was on September 19, shortly before the fiery plane crash in which four passengers died.
DJ Adam Goldstein and Travis Barker, or TRVSDJAM as they call their duo, will take top billing at the New Year's Nation's Los Angeles New Year's Eve Party, The Associated Press reported, and the two are very excited about it.
"I'm ready to get back on stage with AM and continue to rock the house," Barker said.
"I'm very excited to bring in the New Year in my hometown of L.A.," the drummer for the punk band Blink-182 added.
The duo’s gig will stream live on the Internet and will also be broadcasted across the country at other New Year’s Nation bashes.
The two suffered second- and third-degree burns and they went through extensive therapy in burn centers in Georgia and Los Angeles after their personal jet crashed while trying to take off. The crash happened after DJ AM and Barker performed together on stage at a T-Mobile-sponsored event in South Carolina.
Four other passengers aboard the plane weren’t so lucky and died instantly when the plane crashed and burst into flames. The death list included Barker's assistant, "Little" Chris Baker, and his security guard, Charles "Che" Still.
