Codemasters Unleashes Overlord Demo

Coemasters released today the first playable demo of Overlord, which gives the gamers their first opportunity to see just how truly evil a ruler can be. The demo is available on Xbox Live Market place and a PC version was also released.

Overlord, a minion-commanding action RPG is planned to release later this month. In the demo, players don the Overlord’s illustrious armor and assemble a team of Brown Minions (the brawlers) to head off on a session of serious destruction in the once tranquil area of The Mellow Hills. The PC gamers can adopt their very own minion thanks to the Desktop Minion e-toy.

Also, later this week, gamers will be able “Rate My Evil” as an interactive leader board of nastiness goes live on the website.

Users will be able to rank a series of famous people and characters in order of unpleasantness and even upload photos of friends to add into the miserable mix.

In the full version of Overlord, players will be able to amass armies of up to 50 Minions from all four Minion types to lead into battle. As the Overlord, players will have to explore and conquer the rest of the fantasy world’s twisted domains, with seven corrupt heroes to defeat.
