Coca-Cola, Accused Of Cheating Customers

Coca-Cola is, without a doubt, one of the largest, most successful, and most popular companies from around the world. Their brand is known even in the most remote locations, and they gained even more international recognition after they further popularized the image of a Santa Claus wearing red and white. Coca-Cola is currently not only the world’s leading beverage company, but also the world’s biggest manufacturer, distributor and marketer of non-alcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups in the world, and one of the largest corporations in the United States.

The Coca-Cola Company is best known for – of course – its trademark product, the Coca-Cols soft drink. However, the company has about 400 brands in more than 200 countries all over the world, and it has been estimated that the Coca-Cola Company serves well over 1.5 billion daily servings.

One of the drinks produced and marketed by the Coca-Cola Company is “Glaceau Vitaminwater.” Recently, the Company has been accused of tricking their customers into thinking that this beverage is less vitamin enhanced than advertised.

Diana Garza Ciarlante, one of the most prominent spokespeople for the Coca-Cola Company came out and stated that the accusations brought forth by the Center for Science in the Public Interest are not only “ludicrous,” but also only meant to bring more attention to the CSPI’s newsletter, which has been gradually losing its readers.
