Cloris Leachman, who fell ill last week and received medical treatment at the hospital, is now reportedly at her home and in a stable condition according to her spokesperson.
The 82-year-old Oscar winning actress, who regained her popularity by participating on the TV show "Dancing with the Stars," was diagnosed with pneumonia. The news of her diagnose were made public during the celebrity television program "Entertainment Tonight."
Leachman’s spokesperson said the actress was feeling ok after she participated at the Best Friends Animal Society’s 15th Annual Lint Roller Party in Los Angeles on Nov. 13. But sometime after attending the event she fell ill.
“She went to seek some medical attention,” her rep says. “She’s totally fine. She was at a family event on Saturday. She’s at home now.”
Cloris Leachman, the oldest contestant on the "Dancing with the Stars," was the sixth dancer voted off the TV celebrity show.
However, the actress is fine and is now at home. She will reportedly begin taping a surprise segment for "Dancing with the Stars." Her dancing partner in the contest was professional dancer Corky Ballas.
The actress’ future plans include projects such as reprising her original role in Broadway's Young Frankenstein, a part in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds and serving as the grand marshal of the 2009 Tournament of Roses festivities.
