Clooney and Pitt Spend Quality Time in Venice

Ethan and Joel Coen's "Burn After Reading" was shown at the 65th Annual Venice Film Festival this Wednesday. It features names such as George Clooney, Brad Pitt, John Malkovich and George Clooney, Brad Pitt, John Malkovich, who is married to Joel and who won an Oscar for her role in their 1996 film "Fargo." It is actually a black comedy about idiots and the way their worlds function.

Clooney plays a federal marshal whose extra-marital affairs bring him into contact with a gym instructor (Pitt) and his colleague (McDormand). The two are trying to make money out of the memoirs of a failed CIA analyst (John Malkovich) by presenting them as valuable state secrets.

On Tuesday however Clooney and Pitt also found time to host a charity dinner which is called Not On Our Watch. The organization was founded last year by Pitt, Clooney, Matt Damon and Don Cheadle and it already raised more than $7 million that go straight to the victims of the humanitarian crisis in the Darfur region of Sudan and the cyclone in Myanmar.

Then on Wednesday the two gave a very relaxing press conference for the newly presented film. When Clooney was asked whether he had plans of settling down and having children he replied: "This honestly is the first time I've ever been asked that question. I'm getting married and having children today. Brad?" Thus Pitt said: "And until then I'll be sharing mine with him," he joked. "I'll have two more by next year." The Telegraph said it was unclear whether he was joking about this one or not.
