Political corruption is a great issue in almost every state, and though special laws are passed in order to fight with corruption, it always seems that this ungraceful act of betraying oaths always finds a way to reveal its ugly head.

Politician Chuck turner was videotaped receiving a $1000 bribe for releasing an alcohol a liquor license for a Boston nightclub. This seems pretty conspicuous as some wonder why would a politician risk his entire career for $1000. Chuck Turner was taken in custody at 7:00 AM, at City Hall. Turner was charged with extortion and making false statements for accepting the $1000 bribe.

This is not the first case of a politician being videotaped accepting bribes or doing something immoral and it goes to show that the truth can come out no matter what and that the system is doing something.

 Chuck Turner declared after Wilkerson’s arrest that if somebody would expose all corrupt politicians, 90% of the political stage would be taken out, leaving the nation with the rest of 10%, a group in which he included himself. It seems that a FBI investigation was underway, researching Turner’s criminal activities. It is known that more than 150 recordings were made by FBI agents.

It seems that from every now and again something like this must come out to the light and expose the not perfect system we are living in. This also shows that flaws can be corrected and maybe harser policy regarding this kind of activities might put an end to them.
