Chrome Is Out Of Beta

The Internet is part of our lives for some quite some time, meaning that the tools we use for accessing it have also evolved and started being more and more sophisticated. Currently, Microsoft’s Internet Explorer is the world’s most used Internet browser, followed by Mozilla Firefox, holding the record for most downloads in a day. Of course, there is also the popular Safari and Opera, which have a long history and a very solid user base.

Google is an old company on the Internet, but has just stepped into the field of internet browsers, with Chrome. Fans of Google will be happy to hear that the Chrome web browser is now out of beta and that it will be updated periodically.

Google said that even if the browser is not in beta form anymore, this doesn’t mean that research isn’t being done on improving its capabilities and performance. Currently, people at Google are working on a version that will work on Mac and Linux operating systems, as the current version only works on Windows.

Chrome holds a big ace p its sleeve, as it is very well protected from viruses and malware, which a user can easily get from the Internet. Chrome simply doesn’t allow malware to install itself on the computer, which is a great advantage in its favor.

At present, Google’s Chrome is competing with Firefox, Safari, Opera and, of course, Microsoft’s Internet explorer. In order to succeed in becoming as popular as the browsers mentioned above, Chrome must offer users a new perspective on browsing the Internet, a perspective that should be safe and practical. From what people are saying, it seems that Chrome is doing just that.
