In a recently made public audio, Christian Bale can be heard throwing a long and rife with profanities tirade at a cinematographer and also anyone who dared interfere and tried to calm him down, while on the set of „Terminator Salvation.”
The audio clip, which spreads over three minutes, was posted Monday on the TMZ.com website and shows actor Christian Bale lashing at cinematographer Shane Hurlbut because the latter had walked behind co-star Bryce Dallas Howard and accidentally got in Bale’s line of sight, which is usually deemed as a movie-set faut pas.
During his tirade, the actor who portrayed Batman in the hit movie „The Dark Knight” can be heard yelling at Hurlbut, telling him that were he to walk in his line of sight one more time, he would not return to the set unless the man got fired.
Afterwards, Bale starts threatening the cinematographer that he would trash his lights, once again screaming and asking him why he was trashing his scene.
The incident took place back in July on the set at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico, not long before Bale was faced with assault allegations from his mother and sister in London.
At that time, no charges were filed, the family reasoning that they did not want to pursue the matter, while prosecutors claimed that there was insufficient evidence to press charges.
In the audio, the only voice that can be heard is Bale’s, although it is obvious that he is reacting to Hurlbut’s actions and the crew members’ attempts to calm him down.
