It seems that the movie industry has no more surprises to roll out, so it comes out with some pretty outrageous and fun to think of rumors. The most recent rumor is that Cher will join Johnny Knoxville, from Jackass, on the big screen, in a movie called “The Drop Out.”
Only the thought of Cher and Knoxville together has something special to it, it’s one of those things one couldn’t have imagined. The plot behind the movie will be pretty awkward, with Knoxville playing a 35-year-old college student who is finally kicked out of his parents’ house and forced to find his own way in life.
All seems pretty basic until now, doesn’t it? This role certainly fits Johnny Knoxville. The character the Jackass member plays will get in good relations with his 65 year old neighbor, played by Cher, who is surprisingly good looking.
If you think this is twisted, wait for it, there’s more. The character Cher plays has a son, which is roughly the same age as the newly moved in neighbor and is desperate for a father figure. The plot just seems designed by a team of people specialized in creating the most awkward screenplays in the world.
Surely, some will find this funny and entertaining and some will find it offensive and even boring. The fact is that it will be a pleasure to see Cher on the big screen again, and it was about time for a movie to try and push the boundaries.
