The absolute star of hit U.S. television sitcom "Two
and a Half Men," Charlie Sheen, announced he is o become a father for the fourth
time in his life. The 42-year old star is expecting a child with wife Brooke
Mueller, a real estate investor, to whom he married on May 30 in Los Angeles. They
exchanged wows in front of 60 close friends and relatives at a private estate.
Afterwards they left for Costa
Rica in their honeymoon. This is the first
child they’ve had together.
"Brooke and I are thrilled!" Sheen said in a
statement Monday. "She's the best step mom Sam, Lola and Cassandra could
ever hope for. Seeing her love and affection with those three, I know she'll be
an amazing mom. Unless I bat 100 percent, perhaps a boy awaits us."
In case you were wondering, Sam, Lola and Cassandra Jade
Estevez are Sheen’s other three daughters aged 4, 3 and 23. The first two are
together with ex-wife Denise Richards, and the latter with ex-girlfriend Paula
Profitt. He and Richards had a horribly unfriendly divorce in 2006. Sheen and
Richards are still involved in a bitter custody battle over their two
daughters. The two met while shooting the movie “Good Advice” back in 2001. In
March of 2005, Denise, who was six-months pregnant, filed for divorce, citing
irreconcilable differences.
TV Guide named Sheen as the top paid actor on television
earlier this month with $825,000 per episode.
His world wide recognized debut was in Oliver Stone’s 1986
movie, “Platoon.” He played alongside his father, Martin Sheen, in Stone’s next
film, “Wall Street” in 1987.
