Charlie Sheen’s ongoing bitter custody feud with former wife Denise Richards still leaves room for romance with current fiancée Brooke Mueller and even for chivalrous gestures such as lasering his kitschy tattoos off.

According to the New York Post’s Page Six, the “Two and a Half Men” actor has vowed to remove his 13 tattoos by way of laser, so as to appease his lady love Brooke Mueller, who allegedly hates the ink work.

It probably won’t be a painful departure for the actor, as he reportedly can’t even remember getting some of the tattoos done. Among mysterious acquisitions to Sheen are a dragon with glasses and a stingray on his left ankle, reports the NY Post.

Other tattoos include a wooden sign nailed to his chest above his heart reading, “Back in 15 minutes,” originally meant to be an ashtray, the actor said. A tattoo on his left wrist reading “Denise,” as in former wife Denise Richards, has already been erased, Page Six reports.

A representative for the 42-year-old actor told “Access Hollywood” that the tattoo removal has already begun, but the process is not related to Mueller. “Basically true, but (tattoo removal) is a process he started before he met Brooke,” the rep told Access.

The press has been suffused lately with gory details of the custody feud between Sheen and Richards over their two daughters. Last week, the NY Post reported that certain documents filed by the actress had become public, and offered large quotations.

Richards, 36, claims that her former husband sent her some e-mails containing particularly foul language. Examples: “You are a pig — A sad, jobless pig who is sad and talentless and sad and jobless and evil and a bad mom, so go [expletive] yourself sad jobless pig,” read one of the emails, referring to Richards’ momentary lack of career perspectives.

And even a more compassionate message, making reference to his former mother-in-law, currently undergoing chemotherapy to cure cancer: “Cry to your bald mom, you (expletive) loser.”

Richards and Sheen wed in 2002 and welcomed two daughters within the following three years: Sam, born in 2004, and Lola Rose, born in 2005. The actress filed for divorce in spring 2006. She alleges that her ex-spouse has a gambling problem and an alcohol addiction.

Sheen and Brooke Mueller became engaged this summer.
