Celebrity Photographers Looking for Proof in Rihanna-Brown Case

Paparazzi are searching for proof of the reported reconciliation of 19-year-old R&B star Chris Brown and his fellow singer girlfriend Rihanna, whose tempestuous relationship has shocked their fans and feminist advocates across the globe.

Photo agencies announced on Monday that the first snap of the couple that proves they have reunited three weeks after Chris Brown’s alleged assault on the 21-year-old performer would bring in at least $100,000.

Francois Navarre, owner of photo agency X17, informed Reuters that a photo of the “Disturbia” singer and Chris Brown was one of the most desired pictures in the celebrity news industry, behind only an intangible, heavenly family snap of actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie with their six children.

People magazine and Us Weekly have released reports on their Web sites with regard to the fact that Chris Brown, whose best known hits include “Run It!” and “Kiss Kiss,” and the Barbados-born beauty spent the past weekend in Miami, at one of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ residences on Miami Beach’s Star Island. In addition, E! News reported online that celebrity photographers in helicopters entered the private estate where the couple was reportedly staying in an attempt to obtain photographs that could serve as proof of their reconciliation.

“Dysfunction sells, crazy sells and the more people’s relationships seems to be out of whack, everyone is just fascinated to watch them to see how it unravels,” Reuters quoted Elayne Rapping, a professor and pop culture expert with University at Buffalo of the State University of New York, as saying.
Nevertheless, Los Angeles prosecutors have yet take a decision on whether to formally charge the R&B singer over the February 8 much talked about incident, which prompted both stars to cancel their Grammy appearances and performances the next day.

California law permits prosecutors to charge a person with domestic violence even if the couple reunites in the meantime.

Rihanna’s family apparently disapproves of her decision to reunite with Chris Brown. A relative of the singer told People magazine that “everyone wants them to take a break, to cool off,” adding that “no one wants them back together.”

The couple supposedly picked up on their relationship after Chris Brown called Rihanna a couple of weeks ago in order to congratulate her for her 21st birthday. With regard to the pair’s reconciliation, Rihanna’s dad admitted that he supported the “Umbrella” singer in whatever decision she made.

Ronald Fenty informed the publication during a telephone call that he was “behind” his daughter on “whatever road she chooses.” Moreover, he said that he had not heard of Rihanna since last month, when they celebrated her anniversary and confessed he had only found out about the reunion via media reports. He explained that his family was united in spite of the fact that they “are apart,” adding that his daughter was a “smart girl.” Nevertheless, Ronald Fenty would not comment on the attitude of Chris Brown.
