Cavs – Pacers 111-106, LeBron Triple Doubles Again

LeBron James has shown once again why they cal him “The King” as he scored 30 points, pulled down 11 rebounds and dished out 10 assists to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 111-106 over the Indiana Pacers at Conseco Fieldhouse. This is his fourth triple-double of the season and the Cavs third straight win.

"He's an amazing talent, an amazing player," said Cavs head coach Mike Brown of James. "The guy is just unbelievable. He's unselfish. His leadership skills are off the chart. It's all because he worked at it. His balance is phenomenal."

Drew Gooden closely followed with 23 points and 12 rebounds and Sasha Pavlovic was very accurate from behind the three point arc as he scored four three-pointers on his way to 22 points.

For the Pacers, Jamaal Tinsley led in scoring with 24 points and also dished out 11 assists, while Marquis Daniels contributed with 25 points off the bench. Danny Granger also chipped in with 21 points despite the fact that he ran into foul trouble and had limited playing time.

The Pacers were 99-97 ahead with less than three minutes when Granger turned the ball over and James went on to make it a one- point game. “The King” hit two more free throws to give the Cavaliers a 100-99 lead, but Daniels answered with a jumper from the top of the key. With under a minute to go, the pacers were 103-102 behind, but Jeff Foster put them ahead with a put-back slam off Tinsley's missed lay-in.

The dunk was nullified because David Harrison was hanging on the rim and the Cavs seized the opportunity and James found Damon Jones for three at the other end to make it 106-102 with 36.7 seconds left to play.

Then James made a big defensive play and stopped Tinsley, and the Cavs closed it out at the free throw line from then on.
