It’s now a well-known fact that Ben Affleck decided to move from acting to the action behind the camera, as he started a career as a director. Recently, Casey Affleck, Ben Affleck’s brother, decided to follow the same path as his older brother and is presently working as a director.

 

Currently, Ben Affleck’s younger brother is directing a documentary which is focused on close friend and also brother-in-law, actor-turned-singer Joaquin Phoenix.

The documentary will be centered on the very curious transition Joaquin Phoenix decided to make, when saying goodbye to his acting career, which has so far earned him fortune, fame, wonderful roles and an Oscar nomination in favor of a very uncertain career as a musician.

 

Although initially Joaquin Phoenix said that he will be focusing on rock music and, consequently, releasing a rock-oriented album, a wish that probably stems from his recent impersonation of Johnny Cash, it now seems that the former actor will make his musical debut with the help of rap star Diddy.

 

If we haven’t misunderstood Joaquin Phoenix’s words, it seems that the former (and very successful) actor will be embarking on the rap music ship and proceed to follow a career as a rapper.

 

Joaquin Phoenix has acted in such movies like The Village, Gladiator, Signs, Hotel Rwanda, Ladder 49, Walk the Line and Reservation Road.
