According to The New York Daily News’ Rush & Molloy, “CSI” actor Gerald McCullouch found himself in the middle of his own personal crime scene for the second time in his life, when he was attacked on a New York subway recently in a robbery attempt.
After being held at gunpoint in 2001, McCullouch, who plays Bobby Dawson on the hit CBS show since the first season, had just gotten off a plane from Los Angeles and got on the A train when a crazy man attacked him with a knife in order to steal his laptop.
But to his misfortune, the attacker had no idea that besides being an actor, McCullouch is also an experienced boxer, perfectly capable of protecting himself, which he did. He fought back by hitting the guy, but that did not seem to discourage him, on the contrary, it made him pull out a kitchen knife!
Police arrested the 39-year-old James Torres, the 6-foot-3 and 240 pound thief and charged him with robbery, assault, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
Gerald McCullouch was born on the 30th of March 1967 in Los Angeles, California. He turned out to be an award-winning actor, model, director, screenwriter, photographer, and singer.
McCullouch is a recurring guest host of “FYE!” on E!TV airing in nearly 500 million homes worldwide, not to mention the fact that as a director/writer his short film “The Moment After” has received critical acclaim and festival screenings all over the world.
