CBS remained the most watched network the second week in a row, although the opening two games of the NBA Finals on ABC drew their largest audiences since 2004, Nielsen Media Research reported Tuesday.

CBS averaged 7.24 million viewers during its prime-time programming between June 2 and Sunday. Its most watched program, the rerun of the comedy “Two and a Half Men,” gathered 9.81 million viewers. The second episode of “Million Dollar Password” dropped 9 percent, ranking on the fifth place in terms of rating, with 9.62 million viewers.

As for ABC, the first two games between the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics gathered 13.4 million viewers on Thursday and 13.5 million on Sunday. Thursday’s game was up 46 percent from last year, while Sunday’s match was 62 percent up.

Despite the high ratings, ABC only classified on the third position for the week.

Fox Broadcasting was on the second place, averaging 6.51 million viewers, due to the two episodes of “So You Think You Can Dance,” a rerun of the medical drama “House” and the cooking competition series “Hell’s Kitchen.”

NBC was fourth, averaging 5.73 million viewers, while the CW kept its fifth position, averaging 1.82 million.
