Bruce Springsteen is set to go on a world tour that has been scheduled to begin on April 1 in San Jose, California and will include European countries such as Spain and Sweden.
Springsteen has just released his latest CD entitled „Working on a Dream.”
On February 1, the singer is scheduled to perform at the Super Bowl in Tampa, Florida, during halftime of the pro football championship game.
For the same event, Jennifer Hudson would be singing the national anthem, according to a statement made by NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy on January 14.
Bruce Springsteen, 59, has earned several awards for his works, including eighteen Grammy Awards, two Golden Globes and an Academy Award, while he has sold over 65 million albums in the United States and 120 million worldwide.
Last year, on November 2, in support of then-presidential candidate Barack Obama, Springsteen debuted a new song called “Working on a Dream,” from the eponymous album that he released Tuesday.
On January 11, he won a Golden Globe award for his song "The Wrestler," from the same name movie that stars Mickey Rourke in the role of a washed-up professional wrestler.
As for his personal life, at age 35, Springsteen married Julianne Phillips on May 13, 1985. They separated in September 1988, while on August 30, 1988, Julianne filed for divorce.
On June 1991, he married Patti Scialfa, with whom he had previously had a child and who was pregnant with their second one the time of the wedding.
