Britney’s Youngest Son Will Be Alright

Britney Spears’ youngest son, Jayden James, is to be released from hospital on Tuesday, according to a statement posted on the singer's Web site that said the following: "Jayden James Federline was admitted to the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center on Sunday, November 9th. Doctors concluded he had a reaction to something he ingested. He is expected to be discharged tomorrow."

According to reports the whole Spears family rushed 25 miles to the Southwest Mississippi Regional Center on Sunday. Spears herself drove the 2-year-old to the hospital instead of waiting for an ambulance. Britney's brother, Bryan, and her other son, Sean Preston, accompanied by a nanny, were also seen at the hospital as well as Britney’s sister, Jamie Lynn. Both she and her mother Lynne Spears stayed overnight as doctor tried to determine what had happened to Jayden.

A reliable source told E! News that Kevin Federline had been made aware of his son's hospitalization and will fly out to the Mississippi facility if the boy is not discharged on Monday.

The 2 year old boy fell ill during a family trip to her Louisiana home town. The trip marked the first time Spears, 26, had been allowed to leave California with sons Sean Preston, 3, and Jayden since their father Kevin Federline was given full custody in July. People magazine, quoting a source close to the family, said Jayden had suffered "a terrible allergic reaction. He had hives, was itchy and irritable." The boy was taken immediately to the hospital because he appeared “vague and unresponsive,” an unnamed source told the Daily Mail.

Britney flew to Louisiana on a private jet with her dad Jamie on Friday, the morning after her surprise appearance onstage with Madonna in Los Angeles.

Actually Spears' personal life began to gain substantial media attention after her marriage to Kevin Federline in 2004. Their marriage ended two years later, resulting in an ongoing custody battle over their two children, born in 2005 and 2006. Spears released her fifth studio album “Blackout” in 2007. The following year Spears began recording her sixth studio album “Circus.” On November 6, 2008, Spears made a live appearance on Madonna's “Sticky and Sweet Tour” at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California. The singers performed a remix to Madonna's 1994 hit single "Human Nature". The same day, she also walked away with two awards at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2008, "Album of The Year" for Blackout and "Act of 2008", and despite not being present, two acceptance videos were taped and shown at the show.
