Britney Spears' new video for "Break the Ice," her third single from "Blackout" made its online debut tonight.
Just as rumored earlier this week, Britney Spears didn't appear in her latest music video, which was made in South Korea in Japanese anime style and it was the pop singer's own idea. According to British tabloid The Sun, Britney told her label bosses she wanted a cartoon version of her celebrated Toxic clip.
"Since Britney has been otherwise occupied this was a creative and fun way to do her next video," a source was quoted by Usmagazine.com.
In the meantime, besides focusing on getting healthy, Britney is also busy preparing for her appearance on CBS' comedy "How I Met Your Mother," in which she will portray a receptionist.
CBS spokeswoman Kelli Raftery told the Associated Press that Britney will guest star in a March 24 episode. Her scenes will be filmed later this week. The 26-year-old pop-star will embody a receptionist in a dermatologist’s office named Abby, who falls in love with Ted (Josh Radnor). Britney attended Monday a table read for the episode, where she reportedly made a very good impression.
"I was shocked that Madame Spears was willing to come and do some acting! […] It will be very unlike any Britney we have seen before, and we have seen a lot of Britney recently. What if she shows up on set and she is absolutely, totally normal and that whole thing has been a big ruse? She is smoking a cigarette and (says), 'Oh yes, it is all a big bit. I have a master plan," the show’s star Neil Patrick Harris said.
